There is a street of which has no name,
Things are so different now, they'll never be the same.
No homely fires to warm the midnight air,
No one is left now to show that they care.
No sweet birds singing, chirping their songs.
Everything's so quiet now, now that everything's gone.
In this street, one house was left behind.
Within its walls is silence, peace is all you'll find.
This house has pieces of a garden outside.
With one single treasure, one single pride.
For a petal-less Rose, still lives in the garden.
Standing there wilting, its thorns are its pain.
Petal less Rose, I hear you crying.
Afraid and alone, it seems such a shame.
Flowers once bloomed here, their blossoms so bright.
But they have all gone now; they're all out of sight.
Your bloom was once beautiful, your petals so red.
Drinking the rains fresh water, upon rich soil you fed.
But the soils now ash, no rain hits the ground
Sadness and loneliness is all that you have found.
Your leaves have now shrivelled and turned so brown.
Your loneliness grows as I see you bow down.
Living in hope but your hope is in vein.
I feel your sadness; my heart feels your pain.

And now the petal-less Rose, is standing beside me.
But a beautiful flower is all I can see.
Because the petal-less Rose is company for me
For I am the only one, to see the petal-less Rose
