My Work Hello and welcome to Quill of the soul. This is My Work
This is my latest poetry site and I hope you like my work and enjoy reading what I have written. Everything here is all my own work and I am proud to be sharing it with you!
I have a selection of poems ranging from sad, angry, chirpy, contented and so on. Perhaps you might find one that suits the way you feel at the moment!?
Poems come in all shapes and sizes. Personally, I don't understand all this posh stuff that is supposed to have some kind of structure and formulae and so on. When at school we were taught about poetry and their ins and outs and it bored me no end!
There have been books upon books written on this subject and it completely baffles the daylights out of me. HOWEVER....... One thing that I agree with is the fact that poetry has meaning! Poems are emotion on paper. Simple as that really.
I don't think I am a poet, I am just a bloke that wrote down some emotions!
I have tried to keep this site as basic as possible so You get to read the poems without crazy backgrounds, loud text colours or constant pop-ups ruining it for you! All feedback would be welcomed but on the whole, I hope you enjoy reading my work.
