In Brief: Name: Brian Holmes
Born: London's East End Location: I was born and raised in London but now live in Kent Marital Status: Very Happily Married to Helen. Married on St Georges day deliberately for 2 reasons. 1 - Because I am a patriotic Englishman and 2- Getting married on this day will mean I will NEVER forget our anniversary
Family: I am very happily married to Helen and we have two fantastic children.

Holidays: Personally, I don't think you can beat Norfolk and Cornwall when it comes to beautiful places to visit and wonderful people to speak to. Both places have always given me a fantastic holiday and I have always gone back. Cornwall has the best beaches of anywhere in the UK and Norfolk has all the attractions within a short driving distance.
Hobbies: Occasionally I write poetry but my other hobbies include:
Astronomy: I love the scientific side of it. NOT ASTROLOGY! Astronomy is something I find amazing and very interesting. I recommend Stellarium for anyone interested in the night sky!
Cartography: Whether old or new, I find maps very interesting. I know this is something many find sad but hey, it is my interest so who cares. I have no idea why I find this interesting but it keeps me quiet for ages. I recommend Google Earth or Local live for anyone interested in this.
Magic: I absolutely love close up magic and am an amateur magician. Unfortunately, I don't have the time for practise so will happily stay an amateur but I do enjoy doing tricks. Anyone interested in this great art should try Magictrick.co.uk or join the crazy magic forum of the Hounds Head Magic Pub.
Photography: Another love of mine that I only started to take seriously recently. I enjoy taking photos and am new at photography but am Enjoying my learning curve! I have my own Photo website and store many of my photos on Flickr
I'm not a huge fan of computer games. I do like the strategy ones like the "Total War" Games or "Age of Empires" but shoot 'em ups, driving games and platform games generally bore me.
