Well it seems everyone else is doing either blog's or their own websites dedicated to their training or their races etc so I thought it was time to do one myself!

 

Here are the basics.

I am Barefoot Bazz. Before May 2010, I couldn't run 200 yards without being out of breath and panting like crazy!

I used to drink and smoke which really hindered ,y health!

I gave up smoking in 2003 and cut down drinking but never did any exercise!

 

I secured a place in the 2011 Virgin London Marathon and knew I had to start training. So I trained and worked my backside off to get to a level of fitness that enabled me to do the London Marathon.

Once I got to that level, I didn't want to loose it so I continued running.

 

After various 10k runs and half Marathons, I decided to try a new thing.

Barefoot Running!

I often run barefoot but occasionally I wear trainers so get a nice balance of running with and without footwear.

If you are a non runner that is interested in running, all I can say is that If I can do it, anyone can!
